  • English Literary Association

    • A Bridge course was conducted for the first  year students on “Effective Communication”. Mrs.Anusmitha Sebastian, Associate Professor, Periyar E.V.R.College was the chief guest.
    • A workshop on “Eco Critism” was conducted. Dr.Suresh Fredrick, Associate Professor,  Bishop Heber College, spoke on “Influence of Literature on Nature”
    • Mrs.Hilda M.Thenmoli, Asst.Professor, Government Arts College, Kulithalai gave a Lecture on “Emergence of Indian Women No velists in English”.
  • Business Administration Association

    • All inter-School meet in remembrance of  Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam,  “Talentia 2K16” was conducted by various departments of our college, with the sponsorship of City Union Bank, Trichy. Around 300 Students of Grade XI and XII from Trichy. Manapparai, and Pudukottai, participated and won cash awards. The overall shield was bagged by Good Shepherd, Matriculation Higher Secondary School, K.K.Nagar, Trichy.
  • Computer Science Association

    • guest lecture on “Triangle view of Monter Technology” was given by Mr.S.P.Srinivasan, Senior Head, GIT.
    • A Orientation program in “Multimedia Application” was organized Mrs. Kamalambal Ramachandran, Centre Head, Arena Animation, Trichy spoke the job opportunities in Multimedia Applications.
  • Department of Commerce Association

    • A Bridge course on “Computer Awareness” was conducted for first years.
    • Janab.Habibullah, Secretary, AIMAN Welfare Society gave aa lecture on “Promotion of Export Business”.
    • A one day state level conference on “Role of RBI in Rural Economy” Organised on 04.10.16.
    • Nearly 300 participants from 20 colleges participated. Ms.P.Kavitha, Deputy, General Manager, RBI, Chennai, Dr.M.Pitchaimani, Vie-Principal and Dean of Commerce & Management, Srimad Andavan College, Trichy.
    • Dr.I.Francis Gnanaseker, Associate Professor of Commerce, St.Joseph’s  College, Trichy were the keys speakers.
    • An organised one day programme on 22.03.17 “DEMONETIZATION IN PUBLIC FINANCE” The Chief guest was Dr.S.A.Sirajudeen,M.A,M.B.A,M.Phil,Ph.D, Head & Associate Professor, Department of Management Studies, JJ College of Arts & Science (Autonomous), Sivapuram, Pudukkottai.    
  • Arabic Association

    • An inter School competition was organised by the department of Arabic. 280 students participated in speech & Qirath Competitions.
    • Dr.K.Mumthaj Begum, Principal, Uswathun Hasana Women’s College, Pallapatti, spoke on “Importance of the Holy Quran”.
    • Students participated in essay competition conducted by sathyasolai, Islamic Information centre, Chennai.
  • Tamil Association

    • (Department of Tamil Development, Trichy conducted various competitions. A.Daisy of (II M.A.English) won first prize & a cash –awarded of Rs.10,000/-) students achievements.
    • An inter–School speech Competitions was organised. Dr.A.Mohammed Yunus, Village Project, Coordinator was the chief guest.
    • Dr.Asiya thara, Professor of Tamil, Cauvery Women’s College, spoke on “vz;ZtJ cah;T”!
    • N.Fathima Parveen of II B.Sc-C.S won first prize in elocuation competition organised by Kayal hospital, Trichy. Will be included in student’s achievements.
  • Mathematics Association

    • An Orientation Program was organised on Applications on “Differential and Integral Calculus”. Dr.N.Ramanujam, UGC Emeritus Fellow, BDU, Trichy was the chief guest.
    • A   Bridge course was conducted on 16.07.16. Mrs.K.Rekha, Mrs.M.Evenageline, Jevaselvi, Bishop Heber College,Spoke on ‘Trigonometry” and  “Integral Calculus” .
    • A lecture on “Enjoying Mathematics” was organised.Ms.S.Imelda Samathanam  Evangeline, Holy Cross College was the chief guest.
  • Nutrition and Dietetics Association

    • Two-day fruit and vegetable carving seminar and workshop was conducted. Chief .P.Kalaivanan, Director, Academy of Carving, led the sessions.
    • A One –day conference on “Opportunities and challenges in Dietetics Profession” in association with Indian “Dietetics Association”(IDA), Chennai, was organised. Students enrolled themselves for life time membership for being eligible to attend the exam aiming to shine as registered dieticians.
